About Tumbly

Tumbly is a little island of worlds for curious kids. Each world is a small app that turns everyday moments, like a drive to grandma's, into a story worth remembering.

What we're making

Our first world is RoadStory: as your car passes a bridge, a forest or an old railroad, a narrator tells your kids the real story of that place, then asks a quiz question. Kids collect stickers and grow their own island as they go. More worlds are on the way.

What we believe

• Look up, not down. The best screen time sends kids back to the real world: out the window, to a question, to a conversation with you.
• True and kind. Stories are fact-checked and told the way a good teacher would tell them.
• Parents in charge. Grown-ups decide what's on, and every grown-up thing sits behind a parent check.
• Earn trust the boring way. No ads, no data selling, collect as little as possible, and make it easy to delete. Read how we keep kids safe.

Who we are

Tumbly is made by Winding Labs (Winding AI Inc.), a small team in Mill Valley, California, of parents, engineers and storytellers.
